<p>The method involves selecting a data strip extending in X-direction of width (DY) to a position (Y1) of a print image. The data of the print image in the selected strip is examined based on presence of a data field of expansion dx in X-direction and dy in Y-direction, in which edge detection is carried out in a measurement field (9'). The data field is selected, and X-coordinate and Y-coordinate of the data field are detected. Print images (2, 2a, 2b) are generated. Y-position of two printheads (3a, 3b) in the detected edge is corrected.</p> |
