An electrical distribution center (10) includes an upper housing (12), a circuit board (26) disposed in the upper housing (12), and a lower housing (14) having a plurality of lower terminal receiving cavities (70) and a plurality of alignment cavities (76, 78, 80, 82). A plurality of terminals (28, 30) is mounted on the circuit board (26) such that each terminal (28, 30) is in electrical communication with a respective electrically conductive member. The terminals (28, 30) have contact portions below the circuit board (26) and disposed in the lower terminal receiving cavities (70) such that each of the terminals (28, 30) extends from the circuit board (26) no more than a first predetermined distance (40). A plurality of alignment posts (42, 44, 46, 48) are fixed to the circuit board (26) and received within the alignment cavities (76, 78, 80, 82) such that each of the alignment posts (42, 44, 46, 48) extends from the circuit board (26) at least a second predetermined distance (50) which is greater than the first predetermined distance (40). |
