FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: snapping unit consists of a pair of oppositely rotating rollers. Over the rollers the snapping plates and the loops of the feeding chains with claws are located. The chain loops are located with a gap in the same plane. The claws of each loop are mounted perpendicular to the loop and have rubber cover plates. The claws of one loop are located in the middle of the step of the claws of the adjacent loop. The length of the claws provides overlap of the claws of the adjacent loop.EFFECT: increasing the capacity of the harvester with providing gentle movement of the separated cobs.3 dwg
