A water stopping structure for an animals water dispenser comprises a water holding bucket 1 having a water stopping unit coupled to its bottom, a guiding element 2 having a central hole/hollowed out portion, a limiting element 24 with a water-stopping ball 23 therein, disposed around an upper end/surface of the guiding element, a water inlet(241, Fig 4) being disposed at an upper end of the limiting element, a float 4, a rod 22 which, when water is admitted into the limiting element and guided into the bottom plate via the guiding element, is pushed upwards by the float causing the water stopping ball to move upwards and clog the water inlet of the limiting element, and a bottom plate 3, where the bucket rests upon a surface of the said plate. In a first embodiment the float is held in position within the bottom plate by a number of supporting elements 31 and the bottom plate is further provided with partition elements 32 for engaging with a number of branch portions 12 formed on the bucket. In a second embodiment a lower section of the guiding element is peripherally provided with grooves (63, Fig 10) for guiding water out and the end of the float may be extended to form the rod (71, Fig 11) of the invention. |
