<p>The cooling sleeve (1) has a receiving cavity that is provided with a receiving opening, over which the preform is inserted in the receiving cavity. A fluid channel is arranged such that the fluid is introduced in the receiving opening by the fluid channel or is removed from the receiving cavity. The fluid channel has a channel opening, which is arranged on or in a vicinity of a longitudinal axis. A supporting element (6) is arranged with a supporting surface within the fluid channel in area of a channel opening. The supporting element is provided in contact with preform.
