A gravity supplied natural draft stove for burning wood pellets consisting of a pellet storage compartment 13, a supply duct 15, a burning grate 23, a combustion chamber 17, an ash pan compartment 10 and an exhaust tunnel 16. The base of the storage compartment or hopper will be angled diagonally at a predetermined angle to create a chute for the gravitational flow of pellets. The supply duct links the hopper to the combustion chamber. A slanted burning grate is situated in the combustion chamber to provide a burning stack of pellets 25. The grate has multiple openings that facilitate airflow. The combustion chamber is situated in the lower section of the stove and has an air intake opening located above the burning grate 18. An ash pan is situated lower that the combustion chamber under the burning grate with the purpose of collecting the remains of the burning process. An outlet adjacent to the ash pan leads to an exhaust tunnel, which transfers combustion gases from the ash pan to the chimney outlet opening. |
