The present invention relates to an electric floor box having a frame (100) with two opposing side walls (110) provided with openings (113) arranged facing one another, a connection module (200) to be attached to the frame, mounting elements (240) which extend approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the module in opposite directions and which are suitable for being inserted into the openings in the frame for mounting said module on the frame, and a locking element (250) suitable for assuming two configurations, namely a configuration in which the module is locked on the frame and a configuration in which the module is released from the frame. According to the invention, said mounting elements are in the form of rigid tongues that extend in a fixed manner protruding from two opposing transverse edges of said module, and the length of the assembly formed by said module and each tongue located on one of said transverse edges is less than the distance between the two opposing side walls of the frame, while the length of the assembly formed by said module and said tongues provided on the two opposing transverse edges of the module is greater than the distance between the two opposing side walls of the frame. |
