FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: engine comprises at least one cylinder (11) with lengthwise axis (A). One end of said cylinder is closed by head (12). Cylinder head seals (16) are fitted in between cylinder and its head. Gome removal ring (17) has axial end surface (20) and second axial end surface (21) and is fitted in recess (18) around cylinder inner periphery to abut on cylinder head seal. Axial length of gome removal ring (17) is smaller than total length of recess (18) and cylinder head seal (16). One or both axial both surfaces (20, 21) of said gome removal ring is equipped with seal (23). Axial length before fitting in place is such that sum of seal axial length of gome and removal ring (17) axial length are larger than total axial length of recess (18) and that of cylinder head seal (16).
