PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the generation efficiency of a solar battery element by reducing an electrical resistance of a first electrode itself and a contact resistance between the first electrode and a contact section.SOLUTION: The solar battery element includes a substrate; a solar battery layer composed of a plurality of compound semiconductor layers formed on the substrate; a contact section formed on the solar battery layer; and a first electrode formed to be embedded into the contact section. The first electrode is formed to be in no contact with the solar battery layer and is electrically connected with the solar battery layer through the contact section. |
