PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both controllability and safety of a robot including a motor having a rotor and a stator in a joint mechanism. SOLUTION: The robot includes the motor having the stator 31 and the rotor in its joint mechanism. The robot includes a first link member L1 to which the stator 31 of the motor is connected, a second link member to which the rotor of the motor is connected, and an elastic member 30 disposed between the stator 31 of the motor and the first link member.
