An apparatus 1 for reducing development waste liquid for a lithographic printing plate includes an antifoamer tank 40 storing antifoamer, a processing liquid tank 10 storing development waste liquid for a lithographic printing plate of a positive type, a first container 20 provided with a heating coil 60 connected to the antifoamer tank 40 and the processing liquid tank 10 for heating and concentrating waste liquid, a second container 22 provided with a cooling coil 64 for cooling and condensing vapor evaporated from the first container 20, a compressor 61 and a capillary tube 68 connected to the heating coil 60 and the cooling coil 64 so as to constitute a heat pump system, a depressurizing means provided with a water flow tank 80, an aspirator 81, and a water flow pump 82 for depressurizing the first container 20 and the second container 22, and a cleaning water tank 90 recovering water cooled and condensed in the second container 22 and connected to the water flow tank 80. |
