Surgical method and workflow

A surgical method and workflow to improve the efficiency of a surgical procedure by intraoperatively acquiring a digital radiographic image, processing the digital radiographic image, and using information based on the radiographic image to make adjustments during the surgical procedure. A checklist of parameters may be displayed so that the surgeon can confirm all considerations have been made for the surgical procedure.

1. A method of intraoperative imaging, comprising:
a. capturing a radiographic image using low radiation levels; b. verifying an orientation of the radiographic image; c. adding markers and annotations based on measurements taken from the radiographic image in real time; d. collecting information taken from the radiographic image and transmitting the information to a surgeon while the surgeon is conducting an operation; and e. presenting to the surgeon while the surgeon is conducting an operation a checklist of a plurality of parameters associated with the measurements taken from the radiographic image on a display device.
