PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission observation method with high quantitativity.SOLUTION: A method for correcting a light emission amount according to the invention comprises: preparing a culture medium including observation cells which express genes of a first luciferase, and a standard material which presents a second luciferase having the same character as the first luciferase for variations in the amount of light emission; administering a luminescent substrate which is common with the first luciferase and the second luciferase to the culture medium to produce a luminous reaction in the observation cells and the standard material; acquiring light emission images, which comprise the observation cells and the standard material at least each one in one view, twice or more over time; quantifying the amount of light emission from the observation cells and the amount of light emission from the standard material for every acquired image; and standardizing the amount of light emission from the observation cells by the amount of light emission from the standard material for every acquired image. |
