PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a boiler in a maintenance free state for a long period (at least five years), to an outdoor exposure part of a floating body type marine facility such as a ship, an FPSO and an FSO.SOLUTION: A boiler 1 for outdoor installation is installed to the outside of a facility on the sea. In the boiler, the upper part, lower part, front part, rear part and both side parts of a boiler body 10 are covered with an outer casing 11 comprising a metal excellent in water resistance, corrosion resistance, salt damage resistance and manufacturing workability, an overlapping part is provided to the adjacent end parts of the outer casing, and a caulking material is filled in the gap of the overlapping part. |
