PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing mouse-type canine iPS cells using a few transgenes without using inhibitors.SOLUTION: To obtain canine iPS cells, four genes, i.e., OCT3/4, SOX2, KLF4 and C-MYC are introduced into dog somatic cells such as canine embryonic fibroblasts by using a lentivirus, and the cells are cultured in the presence of feeder cells of a high density, preferably, ca. 3.6×10, 20% KSR, hLIF and hbFGF. From thus-obtained canine iPS cells, embryoid body and triploblastic are obtained, and platelets are generated by differentiation-induction. |
