PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a terminal with an electric wire, whereby a coated electric wire and a terminal can be fixed without requiring preparation of additional components and, at this time, the satisfactory electrical connection between the coated electric wire and a terminal connection part can be ensured.SOLUTION: A terminal 1 with an electric wire is manufactured, in which a connection part 30 and a coated electric wire 200 are crimped in a coated part 202 of the coated electric wire 200 and a conductor exposed part 201a, in which the coated electric wire 200, which has the conductor exposed part 201a at a terminal, is inserted into a terminal 10 having the cylindrical electric wire connection part 30, which is open at least at one end. At this time, the coated electric wire 200 has a projecting part 204 on the coated part 202. When the coated electric wire 200 is inserted into the connection part 30, the projection part 204 and an open edge part 32a of the connection part 30 engage. Thereby, the coating of the coated electric wire 200 is prevented from being bitten in the crimped part of the conductor exposed part 201a and the connection part 30. |
