PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation material which holds a harness arranged on an outer surface of a power unit while protecting the harness by a simple structure without causing the deterioration of the sound insulation performance and increase in a harness length.SOLUTION: A sound insulation material 10 covers an outer surface 3a of a mission housing 3 of a transmission 1 and includes: a first vibration control member 11 which is laminated on the outer surface 3a of the mission housing 3 and has a sheet form; a harness holding groove 20 which includes a pair of side walls 20a facing each other and a bottom part 20b located between the side walls 20a, extends on a surface 11a of the first vibration control member 11 forming a recessed groove shape, and holds a harness 4; and a second vibration control member 12 which is laminated on the surface 11a of the first vibration control member 11 in a state where the harness 4 is held by the harness holding groove 20 to shield the harness 4 and has a sheet form. |
