PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic type holding device which can achieve holding with a higher reliability.SOLUTION: In this method, magnetic studs accommodated in a plate are connected to a magnetic flux measuring circuit defining a measurement zone and a power circuit for making it possible to perform magnetization or non-magnetization of the studs. This method comprises pre-steps comprising a step 100 for determining at least two treatment zones each of which is defined by at least one measurement zone, and a step 102 of defining a surface of a holding plate contacting a component to be held. Further, with respect to each treatment zone, the method comprises: a step 103 of specifying one or more magnetic studs included in the surface of the holding plate contacting the component to be held; a step 105 for measuring a magnetic flux which is generated by one or more of studs specified before this step 105; a step 106 of calculating an actual magnetic grip force on the basis of the measurement and the specification performed before this step 106, and a step 108 of calculating a theoretical magnetic force on the basis of the specification. |
