PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferritic stainless steel superior in corrosion resistance and removability of an oxide film.SOLUTION: The ferritic stainless steel has a component composition including, by mass%, 0.001-0.030% C, 0.03-0.30% Si, 0.05-0.30% Mn, 0.05% or less P, 0.01% or less S, more than 22.0% but 28.0% or less Cr, 0.30-5.00% Ni, 0.2-3.0% Mo, 0.01-0.15% Al, more than 0.30% but 0.80% or less Ti, less than 0.05% Nb, 0.001-0.080% V, 0.005-0.030% N, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities; and has TiN having a particle size of 1μm or more distributed on the surface of steel at a density of 30 pieces/mmor more. |
