PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blur correction device and optical equipment that achieve excellent blur correction.SOLUTION: A blur correction device 100 according to the present invention includes: an angular velocity sensor 12B that detects an angular velocity of a camera 1; an acceleration sensor 12A that detects acceleration of the camera 1; a posture calculation section 31 that calculates a posture of the camera 1 on the basis of an output of the acceleration sensor 12A; a gravitational acceleration component calculation section 32 that calculates a gravitational acceleration component included in the output of the acceleration sensor 12A on the basis of the posture calculated by the posture calculation section 31 and an output of the angular velocity sensor 12B; a gravitational acceleration component subtraction section 33 that removes the gravitational acceleration component from the output of the acceleration sensor 12A on the basis of a calculation result of the gravitational acceleration component section 32; and a posture re-calculation determination section 50 that determines whether the calculation of the posture in the posture calculation section 31 is required again. When the posture re-calculation determination section 50 determines that the calculation of the posture is required again, the posture-calculation 31 calculates the posture of the camera 1 again. |
