PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a scene to be recorded as intended by a user even when the start or stop of recording is erroneously instructed by the user.SOLUTION: A recording device has: acquisition means for acquiring dynamic image data; recording means for recording the dynamic image data acquired by the acquisition means on a first recording medium and a second recording medium; and control means for controlling the recording means so that when, while the dynamic image data is being recorded on the first recording medium, an instruction is outputted that recording on the second recording medium be started, the recording means starts recording the dynamic image data on the second recording medium, or when, while the dynamic image data is being recorded on the first recording medium, an instruction is outputted that recording on the second recording medium be stopped, the recording means stops recording the dynamic image data on the second recording medium, and the recording means also records, on the first recording medium, additional information regarding a position in the dynamic image data recorded on the first recording medium corresponding to instructions to start and stop recording on the second recording medium. |
