摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for selecting amplifier modules having different control methods or gain for optical communication devices.SOLUTION: An optical communication system multiplexes optical signals with a plurality of wavelengths, and transmits the signals from a first optical communication device to a second optical communication device. The first optical communication device includes command conversion means for converting control commands for controlling the second optical communication device into a preset combination of wavelengths, and transmission means for transmitting an optical signal which is a combination of wavelengths converted by the command conversion means to the second optical communication device. The second optical communication device includes wavelength detection means for detecting wavelengths included in a reception optical signal from the first optical communication device, command analysis means for converting a combination of wavelengths detected by the wavelength detection means into a corresponding control command, and control means for performing control based on a control command analyzed by the command analysis means.
