PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire insertion device in which the process is automated at high speed, by inserting a coated wire having an exposed core wire into a sealed tube terminal reliably.SOLUTION: A wire insertion device 1 is a jig for inserting the core wire LO in a coated wire L, while positioning at an insertable position, for a sealed tube terminal T having an opening for allowing insertion of a wire. The wire insertion device 1 includes a pair of rolls 2, 3 installed near the opening O of the sealed tube terminal T, and inserting the core wire LO into the opening O of the sealed tube terminal T, when rotating the jig while holding the coated wire L. The rolls 2, 3 are pivotally supported by shafts 4, 5, respectively. The rolls 2, 3 are driven by a drive source, e.g., a servo motor (not shown). |
