PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a bright projection image to be observed.SOLUTION: A screen 2 is the screen used in a projection device projecting projection light having a predetermined polarization property, and has a refractive power with respect to polarization light of a first polarization property. The screen comprises: a polarization dependency optical element 61 that does not have refractive power with respect to polarization light of a second polarization property; a polarization property conversion element 62 that converts a polarization property of the projection light passing through the polarization dependency optical element 61; and a retroreflective member 64 that reflects the projection light passing through the polarization property conversion element 62. The predetermined polarization property of the projection light is one of the first polarization property and the second polarization property, and the polarization property conversion element 62 converts the one of the first polarization property and the second polarization property to the other thereof. |
