PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer medium capable of easily obtaining a printed matter which is excellent in foil cutting properties when transferring a receiving layer to which a color material of a thermal transfer sheet is transferred to a body to be transferred and has extremely high durability.SOLUTION: There is provided an intermediate transfer medium 10 in which a protective layer 4 and a receiving layer 5 are laminated on one surface of a base material 1, in which the protective layer 4 contains two or more binder resins and a filler, a mixed binder resin obtained by mixing two or more binder resins has a storage elastic modulus G' at 70°C to 90°C of 1.0×10Pa or more and 1.0×10Pa or less and a storage elastic modulus G'at 35°C exceeding 1.0×10Pa, the mixed binder resin contains a binder resin having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 8000 or more and 30000 or less and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 35°C or more and 60°C or less and the filler has a particle diameter of 1 nm or more and 200 nm or less.
