PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute failure management processing in duplex information processing devices with high reliability.SOLUTION: An information processing system comprises sharing devices 13-1 to 13-n composed of: duplex information processing devices 14-1 and 14-2; and two I/O cards 20-1 and 20-2 connected with the respective two information processing devices via connection interfaces. Each of the two I/O cards comprises: means which connects with the other I/O card; health check means which mutually performs health check with the information processing device that is connected with the I/O card; means which transmits failure notification to the other I/O card when health check is executed and failure is detected in the host information processing device connected with the I/O card; and means which transmits failure notification to the host information processing device that is connected with the I/O card on receiving failure notification from the other I/O card. |
