摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a slurry for a lithium ion secondary battery heat-resistant layer in which amounts of moisture and a residual monomer are reduced.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a slurry for a lithium ion secondary battery heat-resistance layer comprises: a manufacturing step of aqueous dispersion of polymer of polymerizing a monomer in an aqueous medium to obtain the aqueous dispersion of polymer containing a polymer with a polymerization conversion ratio of 90 to 100%; a step of mixing N-methylpyrrolidone and the aqueous dispersion of polymer to obtain a mixed solution; a step of removing unreacted monomer and the aqueous medium from the mixed solution in a displacement tank to obtain a binder composition; and a step of dispersing non-conductive fine particles into the binder composition to obtain the slurry. In the step for obtaining the binder composition, a mixed medium is supplied into an external heating device provided outside of the displacement tank, and the aqueous medium and the unreacted monomer are removed under a reduced pressure so as to make the amount of the unreacted monomer in the binder composition 300 ppm or less and the amount of moisture 5000 ppm or less while supplying heat quantity to the mixed solution supplied to the external heating device.
