PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure of an automobile that can give an effect of suppressing pitching on a fuel tank, suppress torsion of a tunnel portion and prevent vibration of a reservoir portion of a floor panel, even if arrangement intervals of side members are wide.SOLUTION: A convex bead portion 5d protruding upward is formed at a reservoir portion 5c of a floor panel 5 to pass from a tunnel portion 2 to a rocker member. A reinforcement member 11 with a hat-shaped upward opening cross-section, which opens upward, is arranged across both opening edges of the tunnel portion 2. Positions in a vehicle longitudinal direction of both end portions 11b in a vehicle width direction of the reinforcement member 11 are matched to continue to a side end portion of the tunnel portion of the bead portion 5d. A lower surface 11b' of both end portions 11b in the vehicle width direction of the reinforcement member 11 is positioned below the lower surface 10' of a fuel tank 10. |
