PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a driver's unintentional shift change to a reverse range in an automatic transmission device.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission device includes a shift lever device 30 having shift positions of P, R, N, and D in this order; an automatic transmission 3 in which a shift range is automatically changed; a reverse continuous duration measurement part 42 measuring a duration in which a shift lever 31 is retained in R after it is shifted to R; a reverse shift prohibition part 43 prohibiting shift change to a reverse range until the measured duration passes a predetermined R determination threshold value; a neutral staying time measurement part 44 measuring a retaining duration in which the shift lever 31 is retained in N when it is shifted from D via N to R; and a threshold value correction part 45 correcting the R determination threshold value smaller when the retaining duration is less than an N determination threshold value. |
