PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, in acknowledgment of problems of conventional techniques for crystallizing synthetic carbon such as the necessity of heat treatments at high temperatures exceeding 2000°C, deficient crystallinities of obtained carbon, limited applications due to the persistence of residual additive elements, a failure to contribute to the abatement of greenhouse effect gas emissions since fossil resource-derived carbon cannot be fully supplied by domestic resources, etc., high-crystallinity, high-purity carbon in an industrial advantageous fashion by heating, as a raw ingredient, a plant-derived matter at or below 2000°C.SOLUTION: The problems can be solved by heating an admixture obtained by adding elemental calcium to a plant-derived matter. A heating temperature of 1500°C or above and 2000°C or below is recommended. |
