PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact-sized damping force control valve having a simple structure enabling a driver to attain superior comfortable driving feeling while assuring a superior travel performance even if no electric conduction occurs.SOLUTION: A damping force control valve 10 becomes a first state, a second state or a third state by a method in which electrical power is supplied to a solenoid 23 and a position of a valving element 20 is changed. Under the first state, an electrical power is supplied to a solenoid 20 to keep a first port 30a open and a second port 30b closed. Under the second state, an electrical power supplied to the solenoid 20 is lower than the electrical power supplied to the solenoid 20 under the first state and the first port 30a and the second port 30b are closed. Under the third state, an electrical power supplied to the solenoid 20 is lower than the electrical power supplied to the solenoid 20 under the second state and the first port 30a is closed and the second port 30b is opened. |
