PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a terminal in which a terminal capable of suppressing corrosion of a core wire can be easily manufactured without passing through a complicated step, and also to provide a method for manufacturing an electric wire connection structure.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a terminal includes: a punching step in which a strip 150 is punched by press working to form a chain terminal 151 having a plurality of terminal molded-pieces 160; and a bending step in which bending work including work forming a tube-shaped part 25 crimped together with an electric wire is applied to the terminal molded pieces 160 to form a tube-shaped terminal 11. Before or after the punching step, a cut-off material 50 is arranged in a position of the inner surface of the tube-shaped part 25 in the bending step.
