PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device capable of reducing the occurrence of a flicker and a difference between the occurrence amounts of crosstalk in the display regions at the start edge side and terminal side of a display surface in a display panel.SOLUTION: A display control device includes: a data writing part for successively writing the image data of each of a plurality of input frames in each of a plurality of display regions in a first direction; and an illumination light source control part for turning on a plurality of illumination light sources in a frame display period corresponding to each of the plurality of frames, that is, a period since the data writing part writes the image data of the corresponding frame in the corresponding display region until the data writing part writes the image data of the next frame. The data writing part starts the writing of the image data of each of the plurality of frames in the plurality of display regions from at least one display region in the neighborhood of the terminal of the first direction among the plurality of display regions, and successively performs the writing of the image data from the display region at the start end of the first direction to the display region just before at least one display region. |
