PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation control apparatus for reducing the frequency of replacing a fixing apparatus and downtime, an image forming apparatus and a fixation control method.SOLUTION: A fixation control apparatus includes a plurality of heating bodies, and controls a fixing apparatus which fixes an unfixed toner image formed based on image data to a recording material. The fixation control apparatus includes: an image determination unit which determines whether an image is included in each of areas formed by dividing the image data into a plurality of areas; a heating body selection unit which selects a heating body located in a position corresponding to the area including the image, from among the heating bodies; and an image area conversion unit which converts an image area so as to allocate the areas including the image to a heating body other than faulty heating bodies which are included in the selected heating bodies. |
