PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breaking of a support in a large earthquake, and to also reduce a burden of a lower structure, by making a support part movable, without replacing an existing support with a new support, in a bridge whose upper structure is composed of a concrete beam.SOLUTION: An existing support 1 mobilizing method comprises an upper shoe 3 fixed to the upper structure 2 and a lower shoe 5 fixed to the lower structure 4, in which the upper shoe 3 comprises a plate part 3a to be fixed to the upper structure, and comprises a process of leaving the plate part as it is in the upper structure 2 by horizontally cutting the upper shoe 3 along an under surface of the plate part 3a, a process of installing a support side slide plate 17 in its upper part by temporarily removing the upper shoe 3 of separating the plate part 3a, a process of installing an upper structure side slide plate 14 on the under surface of the plate part 3a left as it is and a process of re-installing the upper shoe 3 so that a slide face is formed between the support side slide plate 17 and the upper structure side slide plate 14. |
