PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of reducing generation of durability problems which are caused by bending a display.SOLUTION: A portable device comprises: a display unit 11; a first housing 12; a second hosing 13; and a coupling section 14 for coupling the first housing 12 and the second housing 13 in an openable/closable manner. The display unit 11 is formed of: a display 21 having flexibility; an elastic body 22 disposed on the display 21; and a touch panel 23 having flexibility, and disposed on the elastic body 22. The display unit 11 is arranged from the first housing 12 to the second housing 13. A first-end side of the display unit 11 is mounted on the first housing 12. When the coupling section 14 changes from a closed state to an open state, a second-end side of the display unit 11 moves in a direction of a side, of the second housing 13, which is not coupled to the coupling section 14. When the coupling section 14 changes from the open state to the closed state, the second end of the display unit 11 moves in a direction of a side, of the second housing 13, which is connected to the coupling section 14. |
