<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a waste of electric power from a power storage device consumed by clutch-holding means depending on whether a vehicle is tilted or not by making the clutch-holding means clutch-hold a sliding door when the vehicle is tilted and not clutch-hold the sliding door when the vehicle is not tilted.SOLUTION: Since a sliding door can maintain its stop state without being clutch-held by an electromagnetic clutch 12b when a vehicle is not tilted by a specified angle or more, the electromagnetic clutch 12b power-fed and driven by a battery 9 is not driven when the vehicle is not tilted by the specified angle or more. This contributes to power saving of a battery 9 by reducing power fed to the electromagnetic clutch 12b and improvement in the fuel economy of the vehicle. On the other hand, when the vehicle is detected to be tilted by the specified angle or more, the electromagnetic clutch 12b is power-fed and driven to clutch-hold the sliding door so as to make sure that the sliding door is held in a stop state until the user makes the next move in order to ensure safety.</p> |
