PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an output of V-type engine and restrict a large-sized formation of V-type engine in its width direction.SOLUTION: A V-type engine comprises two exhaust manifolds 53, 54 connected to two cylinder banks. First exhaust ports and second exhaust ports which are provided on the respective cylinder banks are arranged inside a V-line. The exhaust manifolds 53, 54 comprise N branch pipes 55, 57 (N is an integer equal to or more than 2) and collecting pipes 56, 58, respectively. The N branch pipes 55, 57 are connected to N exhaust ports including at least one first exhaust port and at least one second exhaust port. The collecting pipes 56, 58 are arranged at the rear part of N cylinders and they extend from the height of the upper-most arranged cylinder of the N cylinders to the height of the lower-most arranged cylinder of the N cylinders. |
