PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding mechanism of an information recording device capable of suppressing damage to a vibration-proof member, and improving workability in attaching the vibration-proof member.SOLUTION: In an HDD holding mechanism 107, a projection part 93 provided on a small-diameter cylindrical part 92 of a vibration-proof member 90 and brought into contact with an HDD 70, is divided into a plurality of segments in a circumferential direction of the small-diameter cylindrical part 92; and each of the plurality of segments obtained through the division of the projection part 93 has a groove 92a formed therein that is cut from an outer peripheral surface side of the small-diameter cylindrical part 92 and provided across the circumferential direction of the small-diameter cylindrical part 92.
