PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify which user has provided each image displayed in each display area in an image display system for displaying a plurality of images in a plurality of display areas on an image display screen.SOLUTION: In an image display system including information terminal equipment PC1 to PC5 and an image display device PJ capable of displaying images corresponding to terminal storage data stored in the information terminal equipment PC1 to PC5 in a plurality of display areas, the information terminal equipment PC1 to PC5 respectively include a control device for performing control to transmit terminal identification information and image information to the image display device PJ. The image display device PJ includes a control device having: a terminal identification information acquisition part for acquiring terminal identification information to be transmitted from the information terminal equipment; a user identification information acquisition part for acquiring user identification information capable of specifying a user who uses the information terminal equipment on the basis of the terminal identification information; and a multi-screen display control part for displaying the user identification information at predetermined positions in the plurality of display areas.
