<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a towel product which retains various properties equivalent to the prior art, including a water absorbing property, drying property, lightweight property, feel to the touch and so on, and which can improve pile retainability as compared to the prior art.SOLUTION: A towel includes warp yarns, weft yarns and pile yarns. In the warp yarns, G1 and G2 form a pair. The pile yarns include a pile yarn P1 forming upper pile and a pile yarn P2 forming lower pile. A warp yarn density is 27-33 yarns/inch, and a weft yarn density is 49-58 yarns/inch. A pile ratio is 3.8-6.2. One repeat includes 5 picks, and the one repeat is repeated. Three picks corresponding to weft yarns W2-W4 and three picks corresponding to weft yarns W7-W9 form pile formation parts. Two picks corresponding to weft yarns W5-W6 form a ground weave part. In addition, a pile portion formed in the pile formation parts has 3-6 snarls, preferably 4-5 snarls. In the illustrated case, the pile portion has 4 snarls.</p> |
