PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator capable of performing self-detection of abnormality generation prior to start of a vehicle, and to provide a variable-speed driving device including the electric actuator.SOLUTION: When an engine is started and a shift knob is set to P, an initial state abnormality detection processing is executed. In the initial state abnormality detection processing, a shifting electromagnetic clutch is set to a transmission state, an electric motor is driven (steps S11-S13), and by comparing a detection angle of a shift sensor with a detection angle of a resolver at the time (steps S14-S16), abnormality in shift operation of the electric actuator is detected (step S17). Further, a selecting electromagnetic clutch is set to a transmission state and the electric motor is driven, and by comparing a detection angle of a select sensor with a detection angle of the resolver, abnormality in select operation of the electric actuator is detected. |
