PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark plug having a marker that can specify the fixing position of a ground electrode for a main metal fitting, in which deficiency is unlikely to occur in the marker, and the marker can be seen easily.SOLUTION: A spark plug 1 includes an insulator 2 having a shaft hole 4 extending in the direction of the axial line CL1, a terminal electrode 6 arranged on the rear end side of the shaft hole 4, a cylindrical main metal fitting 3 provided on the outer periphery of the insulator 2, and a rod-like ground electrode 27 having a base end 27K fixed to the tip 26 of the main metal fitting 3. At the rear end of the terminal electrode 6, a marker 41 which is composed based on a recess 42 and can specify the fixing position of the base end 27K of the ground electrode 27 for the main metal fitting 3 is provided. |
