PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve frame synchronization even in the case where a bit error and a bit slip simultaneously occur.SOLUTION: A frame synchronizing apparatus comprises: unique work detection means which outputs a unique word detection pulse in the case where a part of data formed of continuous frames and a unique word having bits less than bits of a frame are matched for a predetermined number of bits or more; bit slip determination means for outputting a variation of detection positions on the basis of detection positions of continuously outputted unique word detection pulses in the cas where unique word detection pulses at the same intervals of a frame length are outputted continuously predetermined-value times or more after an output interval of unique word detection pulses is changed from an output interval in the preceding frame; and shift amount selection means for outputting data after adjusting a data length in such a manner that a detection position of the unique word detection pulse on the frame is matched with the detection position before the change, on the basis of the variation. |
