PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost for separating, collecting and supplying a melting material, to prevent pollution to the melting material, and to also improve productivity.SOLUTION: The melting material supply device comprises material arrangement means 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 26 for arranging a base material M1 in a base material heating position in a melting furnace 2 and heating-melting means 11 for heating-melting the base material arranged in the base material heating position by the material arrangement means, and a predetermined quantity of base material is separated-collected, and is supplied to a hearth 8 as the melting material, by heating-melting the base material by the heating-melting means in an inert gas atmosphere or in a vacuum atmosphere. |
