PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a travel control device for a medical equipment cart, which can reliably prevent sudden acceleration and an overturn of a medical equipment cart and a drop of loaded articles even when the medical equipment cart travels on a floor surface with an inclination, such as a slope, in a hospital.SOLUTION: A medical equipment cart includes: a loading part where at least one of an endoscope for acquiring observation images, a processor for performing image processing on the observation image acquired by the endoscope, and a monitor for displaying the observation image on which the processor performs the image processing is loaded; and casters rotatably attached to a bottom part of the loading part. In the medical equipment cart, a travel control device for the medical equipment cart includes: an inclination angle detecting sensor for detecting an inclination angle of a reference surface of the loading part of the medical equipment cart during the traveling of the medical equipment cart by the casters; a brake mechanism which brakes the casters; and a travel control part which brakes the casters via the brake mechanism based on the inclination angle of the reference surface of the loading part of the medical equipment cart that is detected by the inclination angle detecting sensor. |
