PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that enables a directory name of a directory for storing a photographing image to be appropriately determined.SOLUTION: The imaging device comprises: an imaging section 3 that photographs an image by an optical system, and outputs image data corresponding to the photographed image; a directory generation section 6 that generates a directory having a predetermined directory name in a recording medium 7; and an image storage section 6 that stores the image data output from the imaging section 3 in the directory generated by the directory generation section. When generating the directory, the directory generation section 6 decides a numeral having a numeral corresponding to a week number and a numeral corresponding to a day of the week combined as a directory number, and decides that the directory name of the directory is a name beginning with the directory number. |
