PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assign sequential numbers to the file names of a recorded moving image and still image when recording a file of the still image imaged during recording a file of the moving image.SOLUTION: A recording device, for recording still image data as a still image file according to a recording instruction when recording moving image data as a moving image file, generates a file name of the still image file having the recording instruction, according to a first predetermined relationship between the file names of the moving image file being currently recorded or the recorded still image file, in response to the recording instruction of the still image data during the recording of the moving image data. After the recording of the moving image data is completed, the recording device changes at least one of the file names of the recorded moving image file and still image file in a manner to have a second predetermined relationship between the file names of the recorded moving image file and the recorded still image file. |
