PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of structure analysis and identification of a compound by collecting many product ion information in a short time.SOLUTION: An ion trap 5 is provided between a collision cell 3 and a time-of-flight type mass separator 6. In a time period when a precursor ion derived from the same compound is selected by a quadrupole mass filter 2, a collision energy is changed in a plurality of steps. Various product ions respectively generated by cleavage under the collision energy in the plurality of steps and the non-cleavage precursor ions are temporarily stored in the ion trap 5, and then, emitted in a packet shape in a state that they are mixed, introduced into the time-of-flight type mass separator 6, and subjected to mass analysis. Thereby, in a data processing part 21, one MS/MS spectrum in which product ions generated by various cleavage modes under various CID conditions appear is produced. |
