PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set excellent in terms of re-fillability and unlikely to entail congestion; a recording device furnished with the ink set; and a washing method of an ink flow channel using the ink set.SOLUTION: The provided ink set comprises: a recording ink including a pigment, a resin, water, and a first surfactant and including virtually no alkyl polyol having a standard boiling point of 280°C or above; and a substituting ink including water, a second surfactant, a non-protonic polar solvent, and an alkyl polyol having a standard boiling point of 280°C or above. The first surfactant and the second surfactant each include at least either of a silicone-based surfactant and a fluorinated surfactant. The resin includes at least either of a water-soluble resin and a resin emulsion. The recording ink has a surface tension higher than that of the substituting ink. |
